The UN-backed tribunal investigating the 2005 murder of Lebanon's former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri has finally confirmed the indictment and issued four arrest warrants.

Media has leaked that the indictment identified the suspects as Mustafa Badreddine, Salim al-Ayyash, Hasan Aineysseh and Asad Sabra.

The moment of truth is coming soon. Justice will be served.

Hezbollah Plan In Lebanon

What Hezbollah wants?

This is the question that we were trying to answer since 2005. We thought at that time that whenever Shiba'a Farms were “liberated”, then it would end Hezbollah's military presence. But we were wrong!

After 2005, the true color of Hezbollah was getting clearer and clearer.

Hezbollah was created by Iran. And for Iran the model is very simple:

A supreme Leader who is unquestionable and untouchable.
Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps ("IRGC") that operate in a silo from the army and -they report directly to the supreme leader.
The rest of the government and army.

Based on that, nothing can happen in Iran without the approval of the supreme leader.

As for Lebanon, Hezbollah is trying to establish a similar model:

A supreme Leader – Mr. Hassan Nasrallah (A.K.A Mr. Divine Victory). And, he is untouchable and unquestionable!
The IRGC is being represented by Hezbollah. And, they report directly to the supreme leader. And they operate in a silo from the army.
The rest of the government and army.

Therefore:

Any government in Lebanon has to be 100% loyal to Hezbollah's presence and cause. -Any deviation from that will force them to intervene in assassination(s), “Blocking third”, protests, etc...
Any military or intelligence position in Lebanon has to be 100% loyal to Hezbollah's presence and cause. Any deviation from that will be dealt with accordingly.
Regardless if Hezbollah wins the election or not, they are ruling.
Any leader who is not with Hezbollah will be dealt with based on the following:

Assimilated- The leader will be assimilated by money (Aoun) or by terror (Jumblat).
Assassinated- Well...we saw them in action.

So, based on those rules, Rafic Al Hariri should not exist. And as far as the STL, it cannot question Hezbollah! We agreed before, that Hezbollah is being ruled by a supreme leader who is unquestionable and untouchable. So therefore, the concept of an “entity” trying to ask/accuse Hezbollah is wrong even if they did assassinate Hariri and the others.

Now, the situation in Lebanon is moving forward towards the model of Iran. And the STL will be dealt with accordingly. And after that small obstacle, the STL, everything will go back to the rosy model of Iran. And hopefully with time, Farsi will be the official language in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Yemen, and maybe Egypt.

I really hope that the STL will chock Hezbollah to death!!!

An agent that confessed under interrogation in 1996 that he told Hariri that Hezbollah is planning to assassinate him.

A footage from a plane that Mr. Nasrallah claims to be an Israeli plane. The footage were taken prior to 1997. Footage was shown from Israeli UAVs filming the usual routes Rafik Hariri allegedly used to take in Beirut, Saida and Mount Lebanon.

Should we remind Mr. Nasrallah that the assassination happened in 2005?

Does this mean that Hezbollah had footage of the usual routes Rafik Hariri allegedly used to take in Beirut, Saida and Mount Lebanon prior to the assassination? (That is not a good defense!)

Mr. Nasrallah said too that:

"Hezbollah has evidence that Ghassan al-Jedd, an alleged Israeli spy who hosted Israeli operations teams, was present at the Rafik Hariri crime scene near the Saint George Hotel the day the former PM was murdered. However, he said that he will not disclose how Jedd’s activities were discovered."

Is this a proof that Hezbollah had a unit operating in the area at the time of the assassination? (Another blogger has concluded that too!)

Nasrallah Will Reveal the Proof!!!

Nasrallah said today

"I accuse the Israeli enemy of the assassination of (former) Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and... I will prove this by unveiling sensitive information at a press conference on Monday,"

Mr. Nasrallah... Nothing will stop the tribunal. Do you think that by revealing evidence that The tribunal will shut its doors?

I am just wondering what are Mr. Nasrallah's expectations from revealing new evidence?

What will be his answer to the Lebanese people regarding hiding this proof for 5 years?

I say to you Mr. Nasrallah that you are bluffing! You have nothing! Try to get a good Lawyer...

Hezbollah and the Tribunal

The story of Hezbollah and the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) is really interesting. Since the beginning, they were against its creation. They were ready to destroy Lebanon in order to block the tribunal.

Let's examine what happened so far:

October 21, 2006 – The United Nations sent a draft plan for the creation of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon to try suspects in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri to the Lebanese government.

October 30, 2006 –Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned of "street demonstrations" to demand early elections if the National Dialogue conference failed to form a national unity government. He said Hezbollah and its allies should have at least a third of the Cabinet, which would give it veto power. Such power can help block the government if they wanted to proceed with the International tribunal.

November 11, 2006 – The five Shi'a Ministers resigned from the Cabinet. Nevertheless, two days later, the remaining eighteen Cabinet Ministers unanimously approved a draft accord outlining the creation of an international tribunal to try suspects in the assassination of Rafik Hariri, sending it to the Security Council for endorsement. Pro-Syrian leaders in Lebanon and Hezbollah argued that the Cabinet did not have the authority to approve the accord because it lacked the sectarian representation called for in the Lebanese constitution.

November 21, 2006 – Lebanon's Industry Minister Pierre Amine Gemayel was assassinated. Hours after the assassination, the Security Council approved the draft accord for the creation of the Hariri tribunal, sending it to the Lebanese government for final approval.

November 25, 2006 – The remaining Cabinet Ministers approved the creation of the Hariri tribunal. However, President Émile Lahoud called the vote "null and void", deeming the Cabinet unconstitutional due to its lack of Shi'a representation. In addition, the Speaker of the Parliament and leader of Amal, Nabih Berri, was not expected to bring the matter before the Parliament for a vote on the same constitutionality grounds.

December 1, 2006 – Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators amassed peacefully in downtown Beirut setting up tents and vowing not to leave until Prime Minister Fouad Siniora resigned.

December 9, 2006 – Lebanon's pro-Syrian President Émile Lahoud rejected the proposal to create the Hariri tribunal, citing the Cabinet as unconstitutional. The Cabinet is expected to seek parliamentary approval for the tribunal without the President's signature, however Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Parliament is not expected to convene the Parliament for a vote, citing similar unconstitutionality grounds.
May 2007, Hezbollah condemns Hariri court
Lebanon must ratify tribunal by 10 June, 2007. If the parliament does not ratify the tribunal by 10 June, the Security Council may independently authorize a tribunal, invoke Chapter 7
The U.N. resolution 1757 (2007), which took effect June 10 2007, was approved 10 to 0 by the 15-nation council.
June 2009, Hezbollah has lost the parliamentary elections. However, they still wanted the third of the government in order to block the STL work.
July 16, 2010, Hezbollah labeled the STL to be an Israeli project.
July 22, 2010, Hezbollah mentioned that his members might be indicted for the assassination of PM Hariri and his friends.
August 9, 2010, Mr. Nasrallah tried unsuccessfully to reveal the proof that shows that Israel was involved in the assassination.

January 12, 2011, Lebanon's national unity government has collapsed after 11 ministers from Hezbollah and its allies resigned (BBC).

June 13, 2011, PM designate Mikati forms new cabinet dominated by Hezbollah (BBC).

(update) June 30, 2011, Confirmed indictment submitted to the Lebanese authorities (STL).

One wonders why the fear from that tribunal? Why they were objecting the tribunal since before its creation?

In every single phase of the mess after the assassination of Rafik Hariri and his friends, the tribunal cancellation/elimination was their ultimate goal. If, as they claim, Israel did assassinate Hariri, why the fear from the tribunal?

Agreement between the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and the INTERPOL

600 Million Dollars of Iranian Cleansed Money to its Allies in Lebanon

Based on a French Member of Parliament (source), Iran has spent 600 million dollars to make sure its allies in Lebanon will win the election next spring.

وكشف النائب الفرنسي النقاب ل¯ "السياسة" عن ان المعلومات الفرنسية تتحدث عن ان ايران "رصدت منذ شهر اغسطس الماضي مبلغ 600 مليون دولار بهدف انجاح حلفائها وحلفاء سورية في الانتخابات اللبنانية النيابية المقبلة وانها ابلغت هؤلاء ان لا سقف لدعمها بهذا الهدف تحقيقا لتسلم النظام الجديد في بيروت على انقاض النظام الديمقراطي القائم".
واكد البرلماني الفرنسي ان هذه الاموال الايرانية المرصودة للانتخابات اللبنانية "بدأت بالفعل تصل الى "حزب الله" لتوزيعها على حلفائه واتباعه, وان السفارتين الايرانية والسورية المزمع افتتاحهما خلال الاسابيع الثلاثة المقبلة, ستضطلعان بالقسم الاكبر من الحملة التي ستبلغ ذروتها في فبراير المقبل لتعبيد الطريق امام جماعاتهما للسيطرة على الحكم في لبنان عبر تلك الانتخابات اذا حصلت".

The scary part is if they do not win the election, how far are they willing to go? Sorry for using the adjective "willing" and associate it with Iranian and Syrian dogs in Lebanon.

Based on sources from Debka Site, the Syrian troops have enclosed Lebanon.
Is this in good faith to implement UN 1701? Or, they want to do another stupid mistake in invading Lebanon?

Another question, why that map from Debka shows Iranian flag next to the Syrian troops? What about the Saudi flag up north?

Iranian "Cleansed" Money to Aoun

Based on some Iranian sources, General Aoun has achieved the following from Iran:

30 Millions dollars for election campaign expenses
10 Millions dollars for OTV (yearly).
400 members of FPM will be trained by Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
FPM spies will be employed by the Minister of Communication Gibran Basil to monitor the "other" Lebanese.

Good for you ya General.... Now you are an official dog for Iran.

Russian Navy in Tartus

DEBKAfile’s military sources disclose that a powerful Russian naval contingent, led by the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov , left Murmansk on the Barents Sea Aug. 18 to dock at the Syrian Mediterranean port of Tartus Saturday, Aug. 23. It includes the Russian Navy’s biggest missile cruiser Moskva and at least four nuclear missile submarines.

Task force with Flag ship aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov (52 aircraft, 15 support ships and submarines) deployed at the Syrian port of Tartus.

Moskva (easily recognizable by the unique battery of sixteen SS-N-12 Sandbox surface to surface missiles sited on both sides of the ship. It was designed primarily to take on American aircraft carrier battle groups.

One thing to note that the fleet was before in port of Sevastopol (Crimean area of Ukraine). Ukraine charges Russia $93 million per year for using the Sevastopol base, and Ukraine keeps demanding more money. Bashar al-Assad does not charge the Russians for using Latakia and Tartus, nor does he charge them for water or electricity.

What is the meaning of this step? Is it related to Hezbollah movements in North Lebanon?

Aoun: We must know who sent the military helicopter to the place where it came under fire (link)

Aoun issued what he described as “formal request,” to the army, asking them “to tell us who directed the military helicopter to the place where the shooting occurred. They must tell us who gave this order and what was the mission.” He said his party wanted to know what the guiding principle of the flights over these regions was, especially since they are zones where the UNFIL and the Resistance were present. “Accordingly, we can tell the mother of Capt. Hanna why her son was killed and who killed him.”

Am I reading this right? Is he asking who gave a Lebanese Officer a permission to fly over a Lebanese soil?

By the way, Soujod is north of the Litani river. And even if it was in the zone of the UNIFIL, they do not prevent the Lebanese helicopters from flying over there. And, they do not shoot them!

المعلومات المتوافرة من مصادر عدة، تؤكد ان وحدات عسكرية تابعة للحزب احتلت مواقع عسكرية لها في اعالي جرود عكار وتحديدا في منطقة الشنبوق التابعة اداريا لمدينة القبيات المسيحية في شمال لبنان ووصلت في انتشارها الى الكنيسة القائمة في تلك الناحية، استعدادا لأقتحام عكار على محور القبيات – البيرة – وادي خالد ومنه في اتجاه قرى السهل العلوية. في حين انتشرت قوات معززة بالصواريخ والاسلحة الثقيلة في منطقة كرم سباط المشرفة على بلدات فنيدق ومشمش استعدادا لأقتحام عكار على محور فنيدق – مشمش نزولا في اتجاه حلبا.

واستنادا الى الخبراء العسكريين من ابناء المنطقة فأن خطة الهجوم هذه التي اعدها "حزب الله" تؤدي الى سقوط عكار بين فكي كماشة من الشمال والشرق لتنحصر المواجهة عندها في محيط مدينة حلبا والتي يستعد الحزب السوري القومي للاخذ بالثأر لضحاياه الذين سقطوا في حلبا ابان احداث السابع من ايار، وتتحدث معلومات امنية عن نقل مجموعات من مقاتلي السوريين القوميين الى عكار استعدادا للمعركة الفاصلة التي تنتظر التوقيت المناسب والقرار السياسي واعداد الارضية اللازمة، وهذا ما يتولاه النائب ميشال عون من خلال حديثه المتكرر عن اعمال تسلح في عكار، اضافة الى الحملة الاعلامية التي تشنها "قناة تلفزيون الجديد" للايحاء بوجود حركات سلفية متطرفة في عكار لتبرير الهجوم على المنطقة واقتحامها.

واكدت مصادر مطلعة ان انتشار "حزب الله" تأكد بالعين المجردة ومن خلال مشاهدات يومية ينقلها من يستطيع الوصول الى الشنبوق وكرم سباط في خراج القبيات. حيث شوهدت تحصينات مموهة ومتاريس واليات دفع رباعي ومقاتلين يرتدون زيا عسكريا موحدا .

Mr. "Divine Victory" (A.K.A Hassouna) has admitted that he did the last war for the release of Mr. Kuntar.

So again, just a reminder about the cost of 2006 war:

1200 civilians dead
billions of dollars in damages
4 more prisoners in Israel

All of that equals the release of Mr. Kuntar.

Do not misunderstand me, I am not against his release. But, I think we could have done in a very different way.

What's Next for HizbIran (A.K.A. Hezbollah)?

Internally, Johnny Abdo mentioned on Bikol Jeraa that HizbIran’s plans are to make sure that they have majority (over 2/3) in the next Parliamentary elections. He mentioned that, like Iran, they would not allow their opponents to exist.Three possibilities in here:

Taken over Lebanon - HizbIran will take over Lebanon. He will be exactly like his Syrian masters before in Lebanon. I think that they have the capabilities to spread on all Lebanese territories. But they cannot last in any position other than their own territories (most of the South, parts of Bekaa, Southern suburb of Beirut). They have no manpower to be able to be everywhere like the Syrians before. The Syrians had in Lebanon 14,000 soldiers . And on top of that, Lebanese people feared them. So fear and quantity (not “quality”) helped in controlling Lebanon. HizbIran does not have that. HizbIran has 1,000 full-time members, along with a further 6,000-10,000 volunteers . HizbIran’s strength is in militias’ kind of battles and not traditional warfare techniques. So, they are not trained to take over positions and keeping them. And it will be against their tactics if a war is to happen with Israel. This possibility is a suicide for HizbIran.
Status Quo - Keep everything as-is even if a government is formed. Fighting will erupt from time to time in different areas while HizbIran is expanding its network and military presence in most of Lebanon. Election will happen under the influence of the guns maybe it will lead to the third possibility.
Iranian Style Election - HizbIran will push March14 leaders outside of the country or will assassinate them. In any way or form, HizbIran will make sure that they will not be able to nominate themselves for election. And if they did, HizbIran will make sure that they are not elected. HizbIran and company will be the only winners.

Regionally, It is a public knowledge that HizbIran made sure that Iran is on the northern borders of Israel. Iranian Republican Guards’ commander said clearly that their allies in Lebanon would be hitting Israel with missiles in case of an attack on Iran. I see that as one-way orders to HizbIran to abide by. So, HizbIran is spreading in Lebanon. They are not denying that. HizbIran is ready to engage in a war if Iran is attacked. In conclusion, I cannot see any bright future for Lebanon with HizbIran’s presence.
